About

I am Jebunnesa (Jeba), an economist from Bangladesh, now studying for an MSc in Environmental and Resource Economics at Kiel University (Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel) in Germany.

Before Kiel, I spent several years at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) in Dhaka, one of South Asia's leading think tanks. There I co-authored reports, policy briefs and working papers on the power and energy sector, social insurance and occupational safety, and contributed to CPD's review of the Bangladesh economy and its partner work on the World Economic Forum's Executive Opinion Survey.

I studied economics at the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). I want to use rigorous, policy-relevant economics to make the energy transition fair for workers and communities.
